LABOR DAY WEEKEND

For Labor Day weekend this year, we went to Cheyenne, Wyoming with our family and some friends. A little chilly, but we had a great time!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Today the kids started their first day of school.

Jaydan is now in 3rd grade and Cassidy started Kindergarten.

I'm not really the kind of mom who gets all boo hoo when their kids

go to school, but I have to admit, I had a couple tears in my eyes

when Cassidy walked with her class and was getting further and further

away and did not look back.

Jaydan just thinks he is too cool to give us a hug and kiss in front of his friends now

Baseball Season is finally over!!

For the past couple of months, all our family was up to was baseball games, baseball practice or baseaball tournaments.
Jaydan had baseball tryouts for a very prestigious team here called the Roberto Clemente Team. Out of 44 kids, Only 13 made it on the team. This team plays more games and tournaments than the regular 8 year old baseball teams. Needless to say, we went to about 60 games in a 3 month period. I loved every minute of it though. His team made it to the State playoffs, and unfortunately they did not take state. But lucky for me, baseball is now over for the year!!

4th of July

For the 4th of July, we decided to go camping as a family. We had a great time. As you can see, so did Kayleigh.

Lately, Cassidy has been feeling a little left out since we have been so busy with Jaydan's baseball and other stuff. So, I have been trying to spend extra time with her in little ways.
We had a great time making homemade cinnamon rolls together. And they turned out yummy!!
